✝️ Lo más interesante del mensaje de León XIV es lo que muchos no quieren admitir.

No le habló únicamente a los gobiernos. Tampoco repitió el discurso simplista de fronteras abiertas que algunos medios intentan vender. El Papa dirigió un llamado directo a los inmigrantes: abrirse a quienes los reciben, aprender su lengua y respetar sus leyes.

Eso cambia completamente la conversación. Porque la integración no puede ser una responsabilidad de una sola parte. La caridad cristiana exige acoger al necesitado, pero también exige respeto al país que abre sus puertas.

Y mientras algunos intentan enfrentar compasión contra soberanía, León XIV hace algo más difícil: recordar que ambas pueden coexistir. Por eso también señaló a los traficantes de personas, los verdaderos beneficiarios del caos migratorio.

La doctrina católica nunca ha defendido fronteras sin orden ni sociedades sin identidad. Lo que propone es algo mucho más exigente: responsabilidad moral para todos. Precisamente por eso el mensaje incomoda tanto.

Una de las «perlas» que nos ha dejado el papa León XIV ha sido esta sencilla, pero profunda, definición del perdón.

Dice que perdonar no significa olvidar el mal padecido ni permitir que siga sucediendo, sino liberarnos del resentimiento y del odio que dominarían nuestra vida. Con dicha enseñanza, el romano pontífice no está negando el carácter gratuito y generoso del perdón, pero lo está afrontando desde una perspectiva realista y sobrenatural, alejado de todo voluntarismo forzado y estéril.

En definitiva, conviene tener esta enseñanza en su debida cuenta, puesto que perdonar al prójimo es condición de posibilidad para que el alma viva en paz y para que también Dios perdone nuestros pecados.

She told them that Francisco and Jacinta would go to heaven soon, but Lucia would remain on earth a while longer to help spread devotion to her Immaculate Heart throughout the world, as was Jesus’ desire. Lucia was sad at this and asked, “Am I to stay here alone?” 

Mary replied: “No, my daughter. Are you suffering a great deal? Don’t lose heart. I will never forsake you. My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God.”

She then opened her hands and radiated an immense light. In her right hand she held her Heart encircled with thorns. Lucia said they understood it to be the Immaculate Heart in need of reparation.
