Tonight, I think @MicahStevensWx and I are going to try something new. Several Gray Media stations across the country will be dealing with severe weather. We are going to try to dip in and out of their storm coverage. Think of LivePD, but with weather.
WOW! A drone show put on by a church in Manvel, Texas depicts our Savior Jesus on the cross.
One of the coolest things I’ve ever seen. Tomorrow, HE IS RISEN.
Shot in the head for preaching the Gospel. And he lived.
Hans Schmidt, a 26-year-old street preacher, military vet, and father of two, was preaching on an Arizona street corner when he was shot in the head.
He didn’t even realize he’d been shot until he drove back to his church and started seizing. Doctors found the bullet lodged in his brain. They put him on life support. They said there was little hope.
A month later, he woke up. Now he’s home with his family.
His response to the unknown shooter? “I should not be alive… but by His grace and His love, I am still here. I forgive him.”
This is what real faith looks like. The gates of hell shall not prevail.
@ryanvaughan@Region8News Its bad dry, alot of early spring vegetation was green before the 20° night. That killed alot, set all of it back.. the Ridge is a tinder box right now
For God made Christ, who never sinned, to be the offering for our sin, so that we could be made right with God through Christ. - 2 Corinthians 5:21 NLT #VerseOfTheDay
Jesus replied, "I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to Me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in Me will never be thirsty." - John 6:35 NLT #VerseOfTheDay
This is a good reminder that even though it's quiet now, it's always important to be weather aware this time of year.
We're quickly approaching April - our busiest month for tornadoes, especially strong tornadoes (EF2+).
1950-2025 April strong tornadoes (EF2+) are plotted here and you can easily see the historical hotspots.
Pulaski, Faulkner, and Lonoke counties lead the way with northeast Arkansas a close second.
Little Rock is one of the most tornado prone metro areas in the entire US. Pulaski and Lonoke counties are top 10 nationally when calculating tornadoes by path length.
Southwest Arkansas has gone a long time without a major tornado event, but historically they have had some large long track tornadoes in the month of April!
Our goal this spring is to bring you tornado coverage that is easy to understand and easy to access.
When our weather turns bad again, Arkansas Weather Network will be here! Download our mobile app or follow us on Facebook or YouTube.
Arkansas have you seen this man? He’s an escaped inmate.
This afternoon I spoke with Polk County Sheriff Scott Sawyer. Levi Poor escaped from the Polk County detention center yesterday.
He’s believed to be in a stolen red 2011 Ford Ranger. The vehicle was stolen near the Polk County detention center.
Sheriff Sawyer is very concerned about Poor being on the loose due to violent charges in the past.
If you see this man, call 911 and don’t approach him.
Please share this post, let’s see if we can help spread the word across the state.
You can always contact Polk County S/O with any information at 479-394-2512.
Can you find your county on a map without it being labeled?
Pro tip for storm season:
Know where your county is on a map and familiarize what counties border you. This will help you greatly.
This is not a post to slander anyone, some people just struggle to find themselves on maps. This can make it tough when reading forecast information.
Learn your county name, what part of the county you live in and what counties border you.
It would also be helpful to learn what region of Arkansas you live in.
Whether it’s northern, western, central, southern, or eastern Arkansas.
If you do learn and study these things, storm season information broadcasted to you will become easy to understand.
Severe weather is possible for some (not all) of Arkansas today.
Remain weather aware through the afternoon and early evening hours.

Stick with the Arkansas Weather Network for your severe weather coverage.
The odds of Arkansas observing another winter storm appears VERY low.
We will have cool to even cold time periods, but the worst of winter appears to be *over*.
Late month and early March are trending warmer as a whole.
