Are you a “Beautiful by Christina Aguilera got me through the worst of puberty” queer millennial or a “Fighter by Christina Aguilera got me through the worst of puberty” queer millennial?
Wishing all my fellow Drag queens a merry infected contact lens-ween and many happy returns of the public saying “bit late for halloween isn’t it?” every time they’re out in drag for the next month.
People love to complain about Christmas coming early but what they don’t realise is that the festive section in Poundland is actually for Christmas 2024.
They stopped selling stuff for this Christmas in 2019.
@garethjoyner I feel this so much. I feel a lot of it also comes from a desire to be an exemplary, fun queer and not get drawn into pronoun discourse but that’s kinda paralysing. It feels great getting themmed.
Low key hate BBC Breaking News notifications cos they make me jump out of my skin and then it could be “4 minute nuclear warning” or equally “one of The Krankies has been arrested for shoplifting.”
It’s kinda wild that when future historians study the death of the longest reigning monarch in British history they will do so via a televised announcement from a woman called Liz Truss whom nobody seems able to place.
@MailGilliland@glenn_coin@JuliaHB1 You could certainly argue what they do comes across as a form of harassment but it would be a false equivalence to compare it to harassment for harassments sake. As much as you disagree with these activists you must at least acknowledge they have an objective beyond irritation.
@glenn_coin@JuliaHB1 I’m not involved in any way, just pointing out the false equivalence in your suggestion. I asked what your objective would be in throwing meat in a vegan cafe. You can disagree with someone’s methods without reducing their objective to tribalism and harassment.
@glenn_coin@JuliaHB1 You have the freedom to protest any business in order to raise awareness of its harmful practices although what you’ve described sounds more like harassment than non-violent protest. What would be your objective?
When you see this plate you just know that someone’s about to whip out a chicken breast wrapped in Parma ham with a shop-bought balsamic glaze and a side of xenophobia
