If you do nothing else during your first couple of weeks than listen to your customers, it will have been time very well spent. For this kind of customer connect, you don't need all the answers, just some really good questions and a willingness to listen, learn and change.

Which are the key relationships that you need to reset? It might be with a senior stake holder, a peer or even a customer. Try to reset your terms of engagement with each other. Ask your colleagues what they need from you, and explain what you might need from them.
