Here’s the full text. A recommended sci-fi. I think fans of Metal Gear will find it irresistible.

Finished reading “Mankind” by Taiyo Fujii. It's been a while since I read a full-fledged near-future sci-fi that gave me chills. The seamless blend of cutting-edge technology and refined ideas is stunning. The foresight in its themes combined with its highly entertaining narrative is top-notch. It depicts the next generation of digital warfare linked to current drones and unmanned weapons. What's more, it touches on the irony of “fair combat” in military operations during civil wars and the struggles of “battlefield journalism” plagued by fake news. This is truly a masterpiece sci-fi that only comes around once every ten years. To me, this feels like the next generation of MGS. It continues the Solid’s worldview and story of MGS1, MGS2, and MGS4, with its warnings to society. Any MGS fan will be thrilled. I highly recommend it!
