One month ago the Senate voted on a resolution to block Trump from invading Venezuela.
Susan Collins voted NO and it failed 49-51.
From Iraq to Venezuela, you can count on Susan Collins to enable illegal foreign wars.
The Oakland A’s were killed by greed. Do not allow the people responsible for this to spin it any other way. John Fisher did not have to move this team. Major League Baseball and its owners did not need to be complicit in it. This was a choice. A wrong one. History will sneer.
@BillyHo_Golf Been a fan for a long time. Was so amped to see you battling it out down the stretch in a major. Hell of a weekend. Lock back in and go win the FedEx Cup again!
@NoLayingUp Thoughts on the President’s Cup standings? What are you doing with guys like Spieth, Rickie, and Big Ton? I wouldn’t say guys in the top 10 exactly inspire a ton of confidence this season beyond Scottie, Xander, and maybe Collin. Looks like the INT’s best shot in years.
@NoLayingUp It would be cool if the PGA of America gave courses like Kapalua, Austin CC, and Harbour Town the opportunity to host the PGA — who cares if scores are super low. What other venues that generally don’t get given a look for majors do you think would be great for hosting the PGA?
@Bonetti Conte would be a disaster for several reasons. Of the names I’ve seen mentioned, these should be Milan’s tiers for their search:
Priority: De Zerbi, Motta, Lopetegui, Conceicao
Fallback: Italiano, Juric
Last Resort: Conte, van Bommel
@MarchMadnessMBB If someone did this to Zach Edey he’d be standing at the free throw line waiting to shoot two while the referees went to the monitor to review the celebration for a flagrant.
@GoodmanHoops What the referees did for Purdue in Detroit this weekend is embarrassing. Better officiating likely wouldn’t have changed the outcome against the Zags, it certainly would have changed the outcome against Tennessee.
@SethDavisHoops Would you care to comment on the officiating in this game or are we just acting like there was no issue there? I guess just keep repeating the talking point that “Edey is a problem” instead of actually engaging in the discourse about the way he’s officiated.
@MartinoPuccio This is all to say I think keeping Pioli might be the best/safest move. I hope you’re right though, I would love to see RDZ on the bench, personally. I agree that Milan is in a better position with both their squad and finances than most people think.
@MartinoPuccio Maybe. But every club wants a hyped up young manager. Bayern, Barca, Liverpool, United, Leverkusen at a minimum will be open. Possibly Newcastle, Atletico, Dortmund. Plus likely Juve, Lazio, and Napoli all in Italy. I just don’t see RedBird winning a bidding war for RDZ or Motta.
@MartinoPuccio He has turned himself into an incredibly well rounded player. It’s not only his skill, it’s that he can contribute effectively at multiple positions. Allegri has managed a lot of world class players, and he clearly likes McKennie for a reason.
@Bonetti Also, the possible openings this year include (at minimum) Barca, Liverpool, United, Leverkusen, Bayern, Juve, Napoli, and Roma. All those big openings mean it will be even harder for Milan to land their top options. Another reason to stick with the stability Pioli brings.
@Bonetti Napoli should serve as a warning sign to Milan in considering whether to make a change. De Zerbi is going to have more lucrative offers and Conte doesn’t fit with with how Red Bird runs their clubs. The realistic replacements either aren’t as good as Pioli or are unproven.
@Bonetti Of the choices, I voted Pioli. The only realistic option I could see as an upgrade to shake things up would be Sarri if he and Lazio part ways. I’d take Juric over any of the other options listed in the poll.
@DCSportsBuzzz Odd, I remember something about Brad having a $20m house in McLean. If he’s so committed to the city why did he live in VA? Also, why did he ask for a trade? If you want to move on that’s fine, but let’s stop pretending like you deeply care about the state of the franchise.
