The Republic of Somaliland wins last night’s debate at UNSC on emergency meeting 29 Dec 2025 about Israel’s recognition of Somaliland.

Despite coordinated pressure, no resolution, no sanctions, no rollback followed Israel’s recognition.

The debate shifted from legality to geopolitics and self-determination.

In diplomacy, endurance is leverage.

The State of Israel plans to immediately expand its relations with the Republic of Somaliland through extensive cooperation in the fields of agriculture, health, technology, and economy.
