Fingal Community Development & Inclusion Department to Host Information Webinar on Funding Applications📔

The Community Development & Inclusion Department in Fingal County Council will host an online Information Webinar on Tuesday, 27th January, from 7:00pm to 8:00pm💻

This webinar is designed to support community groups across Fingal by outlining how to make applications for community funding and to provide an overview of the recent changes to funding guidelines📋

Community groups are encouraged to attend so they can ensure they are fully informed and prepared when submitting funding applications in the coming year!💪

Work commenced and was completed this week on a full resurfacing of the Blakestown Community Resource Centre’s carpark🏗️

These improvement works are fully funded by Fingal County Council. Thank you to all local stakeholders who facilitated the centre during any disruption while the carpark was closed👏

Works are continuing at Corduff Resource Centre as part of the ongoing refurbishment which is expected to reach completion towards the end of the summer. Current works on site include:

- Ongoing first-fix mechanical and electrical services installation
- Fire-rated ceiling upgrade works in progress
- New insulated roof panel installation now underway

Further updates will be shared as works progress on site.

The community came out in force last night despite the weather and enjoyed a wonderful evening in the park at Churchfields/Wellview, Mulhuddart! 🤩
There was so much to enjoy:

🎶 Carol singing with the wonderful Clonee Women’s Shed
🦌 Reindeer food making with Emily from the Child and Family Support Network
☕ Hot chocolate & mulled wine to keep everyone warm, along with some tasty Christmas treats
👕 A festive Christmas Jumper Swap
🌟 The Girls Guides spreading cheer
🎅 And of course, Santa himself, escorted by our great Community Gardaí

Organised by Neighbourhood Networks in partnership with Fingal County Council Community Development Office, the evening was filled with joy, laughter, and festive spirit.✨ Neighbours met, children sang along and Santa was delighted to meet all the great children in the community who were able to come and join the fun!🎄
