@tfwrail another crowded journey on the Cambrian Coast route what should be a 4 car set is two cars, been full since Birmingham New Street and full from Shrewsbury with children on the way home from college. About time this route saw some improvements, and more capacity.

@philatrail Was always the case. The original West Midlands Hub plans of about 2000 required the closure. There was a third chord proposed at that time that linked the Soho- Perry Barr route to the route to Galton Bridge.
