Today we are shining the spotlight on a poetry album in our collection owned by Florence Nightingale. The album is inscribed ‘an Album, aunt Mai’s gift’ on the inside cover. The poetry itself was transcribed between 1832 and1840 and the poets include Croly, Wordsworth, & Shelley.
Don’t forget award-winning author, Melissa Pritchard will be joining us this 19th September all the way from the United States!
She will be sharing her newest book, Flight of the Wild Swan, which was inspired by a visit to this very museum. Check out Melissa’s invitation here!
