@official_aimsa respectfully requests and strongly urges @NBEMS_Official to consider appropriate compensation marks for the recently conducted Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE), keeping in mind the concerns raised regarding the examination and the difficulties faced by the affected candidates.
A fair decision on compensation marks would help maintain the faith of thousands of FMGs in the examination system, uphold transparency and fairness, and protect the academic and professional careers of future doctors of Bharat.
We are confident that the other concerns raised by the Association will also be addressed appropriately through the due process.
However, at this crucial juncture, we sincerely request NBEMS to provide appropriate compensation marks to the affected students and ensure a fair, transparent and positive resolution.
We also wish Hon’ble Shri J. P. Nadda Ji @JPNadda a speedy recovery and good health. We sincerely hope for his kind intervention in the concerns raised by the Association before NBEMS and a positive resolution in the interest of thousands of FMGs.
We remain hopeful for a positive decision within the given time frame, in the interest of thousands of Foreign Medical Graduates and the future of healthcare in Bharat.

The Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) is the screening test that Indian citizens who obtain medical degrees abroad must clear before they can proceed towards registration to practise medicine in India.
In the June 2026 FMGE, only 4,635 of the 36,280 candidates who appeared qualified -about 12.8%. Candidates have raised serious concerns over the difficulty and ambiguity of the paper, newly introduced video-based questions and time constraints, technical glitches and examination-centre facilities, besides the absence of an official answer key and question paper.
The ordeal does not necessarily end with clearing the FMGE; delays in securing CRMI Internship slots can leave even FMGE qualified graduates unable to proceed towards registration and medical practice.
While rigorous standards are non-negotiable, the regulatory process must equally uphold fairness, transparency and predictability, without subjecting candidates to avoidable uncertainty or delay.
A three-member review committee has already been constituted by NBEMS. I have urged Union Health Minister @JPNadda to ensure that its review is fair, comprehensive and transparent, and that its findings and the action taken thereon are placed in the public domain.

Respected Shri J.P. Nadda Ji,
Thousands of FMGs seek your urgent intervention regarding serious concerns in the FMGE June 2026 examination conducted by NBEMS:
• Video-based questions introduced without prior notice or additional time
Poor exam-centre facilities, including inadequate cooling, ventilation & drinking water
• Unexpected increase in difficulty and time pressure
• High examination fee of ₹6,195
• No official answer key/response sheet, raising transparency concerns
• Candidates reporting identical/similar scores across attempts
• Severe physical and mental stress faced by aspirants
We respectfully request an independent inquiry, greater transparency, release of answer keys/response sheets, review of the fee, and appropriate relief including consideration of a cutoff reduction for FMGE June 2026 candidates.
We seek only fairness, transparency and justice.
