BLOOD PARLIAMENT: Search warrant reveals police were looking for evidence connecting four filmmakers with BBC documentary, planned to charge them under Cybercrimes Act.
Carlo M. Cipolla's basic laws of human stupidity, from his 1976 essay, are a satirical take on behavior. They are:
1. Everyone underestimates how many stupid people exist.
2. Stupidity is unrelated to traits like education or status.
3. Stupid people harm others without gaining, or even lose, themselves.
4. Non-stupid people underestimate stupidity’s damage, and dealing with it is costly.
5. Stupid people are the most dangerous.
Cipolla categorizes people as intelligent (benefit self and others), bandits (gain at others’ expense), helpless (lose to benefit others), or stupid (harm all). The laws highlight stupidity’s unpredictable harm in social contexts.

I want all Kenyans to look at the attached two pictures - which show the realities of Kenyan life, and ask themselves why we are letting this continue.
Your compatriot Sophie, is having to depend on donations to attempt to save her life.
At the same time and place, @SakajaJohnson can put 19 people on a plane and take them to Marrakesh Morocco - to, Lord have mercy, learn ‘Proactive Management’, spending KSH 37 million in one fell swoop. That was a two week trip.
He then takes another large entourage across the world to Dubai and Vancouver British Columbia. That’s another KSH 40 million.
In 2023-2024 alone, our county governments spent KSH 16.4 billion travelling in style across the world. In 2022-2023 they spent KSH 17 billion.
Meanwhile- most Kenyans have to hope they don’t get sick.
These two parallel realities are taking place at the same time in the same country.
All Kenyans must rise up and demand an immediate end to this madness. It is time to bring an end to this- not by begging ‘leaders’ to be reasonable, but by showing up at County Government offices and demanding accountability and fairness.
Immediately.
The time for beginning is over.

It's now confirmed that tickets for the Harambee Stars vs. Gabon match were hoarded and are being resold at outrageous prices.
Two FKF Branch Chairmen, an FKF employee, and a club chairman are implicated in this scandal, which involved bulk purchasing of the tickets and reselling them at double or even triple their original price.
This is a truly unfortunate situation.

If media houses like Nation and Standard stopped splashing politicians on their front pages every day, the politicians would die a natural death - in fact in days.
Maybe it’s time Gen Zs paid them a visit too. Why not highlight real stories like a farmer doing something incredible, something that actually inspires people?
If you look at my timeline, it is not even political stories that gain a lot of traction but other things about society eg workers oppression, a Kenyan giving views on how to save more and survive in tough times etc.
Last week, Riggy G vanished in thin air when he was denied a church platform till Nation put him in the front-pages and gave him some life a few days ago.
But as things go, media houses like Nation, Star and Standard are clearly becoming the enemies of the people as much as they act like they are speaking for the people.
Kenyan media, much like the church, needs a serious reset. Too many journalists are still stuck in the KANU-era mindset, thinking a paper won’t sell unless there's a politician on page one. That mentality has to go.
Well, as I said, my work is to just share views and open people's third eye.
All KANU orphans think the same.
I honestly don’t know what Moi fed these people. If we’re talking solutions, then the likes of Ruto, Raila, Kalonzo, Karua, Rigathi, basically the whole KANU generation, shouldn’t even be in the room.
They’ve had over 50+ years to fix this country and have delivered absolutely nothing.
Young people who are the majority are done waiting.
If you’re young, believe in yourself. The era of being ruled by people who can’t even forward a WhatsApp message is over.
They almost got us by using our parents to preach blind respect for authority, forcing us into churches where the real mental capture happened.
But guess what? That 30% programming they downloaded into us is being reversed.
KANU orphans still survive on borrowed clout, mostly pushed by legacy media that acts like only these fossils can lead. But we see the journalists pushing that tired narrative. We know them—and we’re coming for them too.
