Gear up for the holidays with #HistoryIsDelicious. My first book celebrates global food cultures, connects some dots, and tells some fun origin stories. Kid-friendly, and also great for adults. Thanks! https://t.co/wCA8KunM5Q
My photo of @RickysFishTacos from my 2009 blog post, when the Taco Task Force(today these writers are editors at Eater LA & LA Taco @GastronomyBlog@mattatouille Javier Cabral @foodgps & I) named Ricky’s taco de pescado # 1 in LA.
@christinelu@KristieHang We got takeout from Chao’s a few times in 2020/2021. They used to operate down the street, focused on set menus. Different menu each day. Looks like they still offer those dinners and more. Good, plentiful comfort food.
A lot goes into our publications, from brainstorming, researching, writing, and editing, to working with incredible authors and illustrators from around the world, like @laurafoystudio who illustrated "History is Delicious."

Eddie Sanchez is one of the nicest, most talented people covering L.A.’s food scene. Glad to see @RealHungryInLA get some love: https://t.co/2bPLkTb96H
It’s pretty rare to find a latte that tastes like the advertised flavor or for coffee to even shine through. Lattes basically just taste like the chosen milk.
Also, think twice about ordering shawarma for dinner at low-volume restaurants with spits that start turning in the morning. Rivers of sauce and hummus can’t redeem desiccated meat.
