FFTW is a proud member of Common Goal and incredibly proud to be part of this mental health project campaign. Check out this powerful story featuring Naomi Girma and one of our program participants, Chudear! 👏
Incredibly thankful for the team at @goodsportsinc and @EPIC_4_Girls for helping us equip our programs with balls, cones, pinnies, goals, and MORE for spring programming in Omaha, NE! 🙌 #gear4good
After scoring 51 goals in our fall 23 championship season, our women’s soccer team matched that goal contribution and donated 51 balls to @Football4TW. 🫱🏻🫲🏼⚽️ #footballforeveryone
We are excited to partner with @Football4TW for PROJECT🌎UNITE DONATION DRIVE 2024 this March!
Bring your soccer balls and cleats to the Omaha Sports Complex and drop them in our bin. Share the love of the game!
We’ve partnered with @Football4TW to help sponsor their Referees for the upcoming season of their free soccer league.
Our sponsorship will cover the recruitment, training, and 8 weeks of matches for the referees.
We need YOUR help to raise the funds needed… 2/3
“What committed members of this community and funders of this community and a committed school board and superintendent came together to pull off was a literal dream come true.” ✨
Check out our renovation project at Jackson Elementary, complete with a new mini-pitch🐆⚽️🤩
Not all paths to college athletics look the same. Similar to the way youth in FFTW programs may not start playing competitively until later in childhood, Sami didn’t start training for GK until she was a sophomore in high school. Thanks for sharing your story with us, @HaukSami!
It all starts with a ball. For Johnny, it started with one a little less traditional…Our staff got the chance to sit down and talk with Johnny Torres, head coach of @creightonmsoc. Thanks for sharing your story with us, Johnny!
By age 14, girls are dropping out of sport at twice the rate of boys. FFTW is designed to help reduce the dropout rate, and increase the number of opportunities for women and girls. It all starts with a ball. ⚽️ The Beyond the Goals count climbed up to 526 this past week!
🚨Leaderboard update🚨 Last year FFTW redistributed 399 soccer balls. This year, through our Beyond the Goals program alone, 411 balls (& counting) will be donated to support our programming locally & internationally- Montego Bay, Jamaica being one of those locations!
mental health matters 💙
@naomi_girma teamed up with @CommonGoalOrg to launch the first mental health initiative of its kind. Text code GIRMA to 44321 to get involved today.
Proud to support this critical initiative prioritizing mental health! ⚡️🧠⚽️
@CommonGoalOrg, @Football4TW , @naomi_girma, @FOXSports are doing game-changing work.
The Hawks are SOARING at the top of both leaderboards this week 🦅 Way to go @NortheastCCMS! Also, shoutout to @OmahaMSOC for setting a program record of most goals scored in a single match! The more goals, the more youth benefitted. Keep it up everyone 🙌
The Soka League is back! Earlier this year, we launched our first in-house league for program participants- The Soka League. This league is an amazing opportunity for youth to develop their skills and learn through new experiences. 🙌
