For many women, the idea of a golf trip can feel like stepping into unfamiliar territory. Itโs long been framed as a tradition reserved for menโcompetitive, structured, and, at times, intimidating. But that narrative is shifting. More women are organizing their own golf getaways, redefining what those trips look like, and discovering that the hardest part is simply saying yes. There were four holes-in-one on Friday, two on Forest Dunes and two on the Bootl.
Fatherโs Day is a time to celebrate the people who have helped us navigate our own fairways in life. We believe that the best gift isn't found in a pro shop boxโitโs found on the course, in the moments between shots, and around the table when the day is done. Happy Father's Day to all the fathers and father figures out there from Forest Dunes.
Something is in the air today!?! Two holes-in-one on the Forest Dunes course within a couple hours. Now on tap at the Bootlegger Bar, Atwater Brewery's Purple Gang Pilsner. This German style pilsner is an ode to the Detroit Mafia family known as the Purple Gang. Most notably the property that Forest Dunes sits on was once called the South Branch Ranch and legend has it the Purple Gang stored alcohol here during prohibition. Grab yourself a pint of Purple Gang Pilsner at the Bootlegger Bar this weekend.
