@Chuckwv5k@nickkokonas Isn't the Aldi model what they mean by "limited SKU"? So you get like four varieties of breakfast cereal and not wasting shelf space on Kellogg's and Post doing their capitalist junk competition by trying to squeeze the other out through sheer volume.
@nickkokonas Doesn't "limited SKU" model just mean sth like Aldi, where you have all the necessary products, but only one or two varieties of each thing? (I personally love this: easier shopping and more space-efficient when, say, Kellogg's isn't trying to assert its shelf dominance w/ junk.)
The shape-shifting cookbook is available in a new form! The whole "pep talk" section is now a 40-page zine, available exclusively at @quimbysnyc1 -- nifty little gift for all the people you think should cook you dinner more often.
.@AOC: "I'm proud to be a bartender. Ain't nothing wrong with that. There's nothing wrong with working retail, folding clothes for other people to buy. There is nothing wrong with preparing the food that your neighbors will eat."

Actually, in NYC if you’re a bartender and knowingly over-serve to someone, you *ARE* liable for things they do after they leave the bar, because you knowingly put them at risk for $.
Its called the Dram Shop Act. It’s a big reason why bartenders cut people off. And it works.
What if the revolution isn’t a battle or a fight?
What if the revolution is actually a bunch of parties and celebration?
I think we might have more options than we previously recognized.
As a former waiter, I concur! I learned a lot from 10 years of waiting tables and bartending. "Service" is a skill and and art. It's also a mindset. No shame in that game!
