The impact of a great teacher can last a lifetime.
For Joseph Chen, his journey to becoming the head band director at @EHS_Knightswire started with a passion for music - and one teacher who saw something in him.
Now in his 10th year at Elkins, Mr. Chen is doing more than teaching students how to play an instrument. He’s helping them become better people, inspiring future educators and creating a ripple effect that reaches far beyond the band hall.
