Man City 3-0 up and superb on the day but it’s obvious that the commentators don’t know what to say for the best.
As Willie Thorne used to say they are “betwixt and between”.

[Rolf Kalb @Rolf_Kalb]

Vor genau 20 Jahren ging er, aber er ist unvergessen und wird immer unvergessen bleiben. Danke für alles, was Du uns und #Snooker gegeben hast, Paul Hunter. #147sf

Wow that was a painfully long duck 🦆 from Nic Maddinson #SAvAus

[Neal Foulds @fouldsy147]

@jaykay3737 How about “Amazing David”

[Neal Foulds @fouldsy147]

@chrisgambler247 Painful

[Neal Foulds @fouldsy147]

@RishiPersad1 It’s actually frightening to listen to this drivel.

[Neal Foulds @fouldsy147]

@MCYeeehaaa @NewmarketRace Not uncommon but this was a blatant example to extract money from the punters under false pretences. Very poor and very obvious.

[Neal Foulds @fouldsy147]

@backandacross It does seem like a very odd decision.

[Neal Foulds @fouldsy147]

@mufc44 Heady days 🤣

[Neal Foulds @fouldsy147]

@EdwardJDavey Who invented the skip?

[Neal Foulds @fouldsy147]

Plenty of debate about these qualifying matches played out in blocks for snooker events leading up to Christmas.
Obviously this format isn’t a new thing but you tend to see many players who are low in confidence going through some pretty torrid times.
Not nice to see.

[Neal Foulds @fouldsy147]

Congrats to @Middlesex_CCC
Great to see a final that meant so much to the players on both sides.
Not all of this cricket summer has felt that way.

[Neal Foulds @fouldsy147]

Great win for Dylan Emery over Xiao Guodong. #International

[Neal Foulds @fouldsy147]

@SeaYou22 Yes his kid brother could end up the best of them all.

[Neal Foulds @fouldsy147]

18 year old Wang Xinbo is improving all the time. Another you’d rather avoid at all costs in your first match.

[Neal Foulds @fouldsy147]

Some grim answers given there #Popmaster

[Neal Foulds @fouldsy147]

@iam_jlc True enough he’d be left with nothing to work with other than a preposterously long name.

[Neal Foulds @fouldsy147]

Thanawat Tirapongpaiboon isn’t someone any main tour player wants to be drawn against in a qualifier this season.
Good player.

[Neal Foulds @fouldsy147]

@danhirst Surely reviewing that isn’t what DRS was designed for. Was ripping into the stumps.

[Neal Foulds @fouldsy147]

Burning reviews for plumb LBW’s might not be a great idea with Umpire Reiffel officiating. #EnglandVPakistan
