Every year America celebrates "Independence Day" despite the fact that Black people (slaves and aboriginals) were denied ALL rights. That's not just hypocrisy. It's an ATROCITY.
If nothing else, Juneteenth is a gentle reminder of that hypocrisy that persists to this day.
