Just after 4pm Foxwall EMS was alerted with Aspinwall and Fox Chapel Fire for a Multi-Vehicle Collision, with injuries on Route 28 Southbound. 140C1 arrived on scene confirming the report. One patient was evaluated and transported to a local trauma center with minor injuries.
Last night around 2200 Foxwall units were alerted with Fox Chapel and Aspinwall Fire to the area of Dorseyville Rd./Squaw Run Rd. for a tree down on a vehicle with entrapment. Units arrived on scene and extricated 1 patient who was transported to an area Trauma Center.
Foxwall ended 2018 with 1,160 calls for service and relied on mutual aid less than 5% of the time! We thank all of our providers, fire and police partners for their assistance!!
Last night Commander Worth, Lieutenant Landolfi, EMT Hughes and Paramedic Minich attended the annual meeting of EMS West. This annual event brings Western PA EMS agencies together to network and receive the annual report from EMS West.
On Tuesday, Foxwall EMS Participated in National Night Out hosted by the Aspinwall Neighborhood Watch. Providers spent the night talking to residents, giving tours of the ambulance and medic bike and teaching CPR. The night was capped off by Allegheny Health Network's Lifeflight!
This morning Medic 142 (Paramedic Minich and EMT Meyers) provided support to an organ transplant team from the Center for Organ Recovery and Education. Foxwall provides transportation support to CORE's transplant teams and organs throughout Allegheny County. #DonateLife
