LIZARD INVASION 🦎: Central Florida authorities are warning residents about the increasing presence of an invasive lizard species spreading throughout the region. The Northern curly-tailed lizard is native to the Bahamas and has been established in South Florida since the 1930s. However, the species is now making its way farther north.

HURRICANE HQ 🌀: Super Typhoon Bavi blasted through Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands on Monday, as the storm packed 180 mph winds. By Friday, the storm is forecast to weaken to the equivalent of a Category 2 hurricane and skate past the northern portions of Taiwan.
