3) For the exact number of individuals working for the Post Office who lost their job from the evidence presented by the faulty Horizon software?

4) If they intend to fully recover all the cost of the compensation payments from Fujitsu to the sub-postmasters and mistresses?

The Post Office Horizon scandal represents a profound and widespread injustice unmatched in severity throughout my decades of public service. So far this week we’ve heard from several Fujitsu executives concede they had a ‘moral obligation’ to compensate victims.

1) What steps they will take in ensuring that all accounting software used in the UK is free of flaws and defects like those experienced with the Horizon system?

2) When do they expect that Fujitsu will represent their moral failings into financial compensation?

Huge numbers of people have written to me expressing sympathy since the announcement in the Lords that I had been in a hospice. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank every one of them. The numbers are so great it is impossible to reply individually as I would like to.

The election results suggest a deadly challenge to Labour. Some previous Labour voters have voted for the Tories straight off without calling in on the Lib Dems or the Greens. To win back these voters and prevent a further haemorrhage is a Herculian task.
