⚠️ MassDOT Traffic Update

🛑 Effective July 24, drivers turning right from the I-495 northbound off-ramp onto King Street in Franklin must come to a complete stop before the crosswalk.

This traffic control change is part of MassDOT safety improvements at the intersection.

We had received calls reporting a possible explosion a short time ago with nothing found. Here is some information regarding the possible cause:

Residents from New Hampshire down to Rhode Island heard the loud boom, some even reporting their entire house shaking.

Experts are reporting the sound as a possible meteorite entering the atmosphere.
