Delighted to welcome @jenni_minto to SNPMP. Constructive conversations around fantastic outcomes the service delivers to our patients & potential future work. Particularly powerful hearing from those with lived experience of chronic pain & their positive experience of the service
Around 38% of adults live with chronic pain. @ScotGov is ensuring the best care and support is available. Public Health Minister @jenni_minto visited the Scottish National Pain Management Programme at @NHSGGC to meet patients and hear about their experience of the service.
Almost 30 staff from the Glasgow Pain Service will be taking part in the Great Scottish Run in October - motivated to run for Alzheimer Scotland, a great cause which has become very close to our hearts in recent months. ๐๐โโ๏ธ@alzscot

Get along to visit Pam at poster HP-16. Sharing some of the brilliant work within NHSGGC Pain Service - improving quality of access to our patients #nhsscot24 @NHSScotEvents
Fantastic to see our patient volunteers within the Pain Service recognised as Volunteers of the Year. The volunteers contribute so much to sharing their lived experience with patients starting off on their pain management journey.
We celebrated the success of our North Sector staff as this yearโs awards recognised those who go that extra mile to deliver outstanding patient care.
