@justluberto I remember reading a comment praising the short about how it deconstructed the "silent badass dad" trope and it shows that yeah it may be good for aura farming but doing that to your own kids isn't a healthy way and you need to open up and talk with them and yeah pretty spot on.

Watching this scene as a kid, I just thought, "Oh, bummer, Wendy got old, but hey, new adventures with Jane!"

Watching it as an adult, it hits differently.

As a kid, you view the story through Peter’s eyes. Growing up feels like a choice or a mistake. But watching it as an adult, you view it through Wendy. You suddenly understand the crushing weight of how fast time moves, and you feel that bittersweet sting of realizing your own childhood is gone.
