📍During the second day of FreeMe’s final consortium meeting at @polimi in Milan, an exhibition #booth showcasing @FreeMeProjectEU's dissemination and communication materials, including roll-ups, flyers, agendas, bags, pens, folders, cups, and more was organised. 🎯
The booth provided an excellent opportunity to engage with students, academics, and visitors, presenting FreeMe’s scope, objectives, technologies, and actions towards safer and more sustainable plating on plastics solutions. 🌿🤝

The @FreeMeProjectEU consortium has officially gathered in Italy for the project’s final consortium meeting, taking place on 21–22 May 2026 in Italy! ✨
The first day of the #meeting was hosted at the premises of Gruppo Gaser in Bergamo, where partners are discussing the latest technical #developments 🔬, final project activities 📊, and the closing steps towards the successful completion of FreeMe 🎯.
The agenda also included a guided tour of #Gaser’s facilities 🏭, offering valuable first-hand insight into their industrial processes and capabilities ⚙️.
The second day continue at the premises of @polimi, further strengthening #collaboration and technical exchange among the #consortium partners. 🌿

@FreeMeProjectEU's partner @idener uses advanced DFT simulations to better understand the molecular mechanisms behind ABS substrate etching for safer and more sustainable Plating on Plastics (PoP) technologies. 🧪
The work investigates the oxidation pathways of the three ABS monomers and supports the development of dynamic kinetic Monte Carlo models for safer and more sustainable PoP technologies. 🌿
