Thank you for the birthday wishes yesterday! My muy caliente wife is in the Show Me State helping her parents, so I missed having her by my side. My daughter took me to Texas Roadhouse. We were joined by my daughter-in-law & my granddaughter, who was not impressed with the rolls!

I spent the weekend visiting my sister, Erica, and her family in Lubbock. The food was terrific. Kudos to my bro-in-law, Chris. His homemade chili is so good, it’ll make you slap your Mamma. He takes care of you from arrival to departure. We never stopped talking and laughing.

“TASK.” It features Mark Ruffalo as an FBI Agent investigating violent robberies in Philly. It’s a slow burn akin to a Shakespearean tragedy. Martha Plimpton (The Goonies) has an essential role and nails it. She steals every scene she’s in. It’s really a character-driven show.

Yesterday my subject exited the highway & got back on. You constantly assess their behavior on surveillance. It’s easy to speculate why a subject does something. Don't let your mind trick you. I stayed on my subject & followed him to a new job. I wasn't burned. He was just lost

My 30-year-old nephew died 10 years ago from a rare form of cancer. Every year, we gather on his birthday at @innoutburger to celebrate his life (He managed one of their locations in California). He was one of the good ones. Happy Birthday, Charles. You are missed.
