Amy Rivers, who is a West Yorkshire representative, captained the U14’s Birkenshaw Bells Netball team at the Leeds Rhinos Challenge Netball Weekend in Butlins, Skegness. They had two great days of netball and finished runners up in their group play offs. Well done Amy!

Last Wednesday, we celebrated Culture Day! Students from across the school wore their cultural dress, and many organised stalls selling their cultural foods. With excellent music and drumming throughout, there was such a sense of community throughout the day.

It is Mental Health Awareness Week and the Primary School are holding a Wear It Green Day on Thursday to raise funds and awareness for mental health.

Congratulations to Ellie who was selected for the Leeds City Athletics Team to run the 800m in the YDL meet at their home event at John Charles Stadium in Leeds. A late surge from Ellie made for a close tense finish and she finished in 2nd place and achieved a new PB of 2m48s.🥈
