@Slipcatch@ByronLoader77 It’s a false dichotomy. Both the team and the prop needs to be good. It’s not either/or like he is saying. To say the quality of the prop does not really matter is ridiculous. The tighthead is not called the cornerstone of the scrum for nothing.
@GreggMac11 So the Sharks are well covered and are justified in backing the development of Siyaya an Moyo ahead of Giliomee. He is a great player but there are two many people ahead in the que and the move actually makes sense for all parties. Not enough game time for all of them at Sharks.
@GreggMac11 By no means a Sharks supporter, but don’t agree with this take. Consider Giliomee plays 15/10 (actually reminds me of a young Willie Le Roux). Arguably, Siyaya is a superior talent at 15 and Vusi Moyo is a superior talent at 10, throw in Alzeadon Felix who also covers 10/15.
@Oom_Rugby I thought his performance yesterday was very encouraging. Looked like he had time on the ball and made good decisions. Exceptionally balanced runner.
@RassieRugby What do you think is Batho Hlekani’s best position going forward? To me he seems tailored for a Test eight. Strong in the carry and defence, contact skills and lineout option. Granted he needs to improve his workrate and breakdown work.
@rugby_ap Agree. Also he does not look conditioned to play lock at all. Watching the Lions is making my eyes bleed. I think they should give Jake a call.
@DarrylSaul79@LionsRugbyCo@Vodacom This is so crazy. I don’t think I have ever seen Steyn have a game-breaking performance. Very mediocre player. Pead made a clearance mistake in his previous outing but made up for it by creating a try. A 20 year old will not be flawless but his upsides outweigh the downside
