We've seen posts circulating about V14 Lite being available or released to some HW3 vehicles.
As far as we have determined, these posts are entirely fabricated, and we can confirm that no such update has been released to customer vehicles.
V14 Lite is still expected this month.
@Tesla Thank you for providing this update! This type of communication is all we’ve been asking for 🙏🥹. Can’t wait to try out v14 lite here in the US soon and I’m looking forward to international owners to experience the benefits of FSD who have yet to be able to try it!! Keep it up!
Following future rollout of FSD V14 Lite for HW3 vehicles in the US, we plan on expanding V14 Lite to additional international markets.
This update ensures that HW3 vehicle owners will continue to benefit from ongoing software updates.
Since international rollout is subject to several factors (completion of technical verification, regional adaptation & relevant regulatory approvals), we can't provide definitive dates at the moment, but will provide updates on a rolling basis
@teslascope@Tesla What’s stopping them from adding the new park viz for all AMD vehicles instead of limiting it to new 3/Y? I understand intel, but shouldn’t all AMD Ryzen cars be compatible?
Sometime soon, @Tesla Q1 QnA questions open up. Will they provide an update for HW3 owners? Or skip that question for a second quarter in a row? Time will tell, but if you want answers, please ask the question everyone wants to know. “Update on HW3 FSD?”

@HerrLinder@koby_pierce@spleck@EvDriver2016@jchybow Looks like they changed the bank size a bit with the .1 bug fix release. The switch from your “Bank A” to “Bank B” flip is further evidence that they added/changed something. The trip weight is the same though! It’s interesting to see that some are on opposite banks though!
@PawelMadej6 If you are referring to the “green dot”, it still shows, but they moved it to the far right on the screen in the UI (next to the passenger airbag symbol).
@teslascope I really hope they don’t make the AMS more strict again. It’s currently in the perfect sweet spot with 2026.8.6 on my HW3 car IMO. Could it be that they realized they went too lenient with it with this update?
@CaptRedRoach I notice this too. They tweaked the trip weights again and also moved back to bank B being used from Bank A. They only switch it when they release any change to the NN. Not sure what they are doing this for when v14 lite should be the focus next for HW3
I can only hope these changes are related to a new fsd update coming soon 🤞. Some changes I know are do to regulator requirements, but one can hope for v14 lite soon 😅
Had 2026.8.6 for a couple of days
FSD:
1. New FSD UI/message changes.
2. Seems to “ping pong”/hug one side of the lane more
3. Got “camera visibility error” with live preview image for the first time. New for HW3??
4. Changes in Trip Weights/Banks
Have you notice other changes?
