FvH is an international initiative opposing homophobia in football (soccer). We tackle anti-LGBTIQ+ discrimination at all levels of the game | #FvH2026#FvT2026
This Pride Month we recognize PSRA member Brooke Mayo for making history as the first openly gay match official at a Men’s World Cup. We are grateful for her courage to break this barrier so that officials in all leagues and levels of the beautiful game feel comfortable being their authentic selves.

Proud to celebrate with our community 🌈
We loved spending the weekend at PrideFest and taking part in the Illuminated Night Parade alongside Boston Legacy FC and Defiance 1636!
Suomen Palloliiton missio ”Jalkapalloa jokaiselle” sisältää laajan yhdenvertaisuuden tavoitteen.

📻To mark its fifth year and to celebrate Pride Month, the Bohs Pride Committee are releasing a short two-episode series examining LGBTQI+ inclusivity in football called THE BOHS PRIDE PODCAST: https://t.co/jhwzlLKuDo
The Pride Committee would love you to listen, and to share, as they believe the story Bohs has to tell around its work on LGBTQI+ inclusivity in football is an important one. They hope the podcast can reach out to as many people as possible - in football, in the LGBTQI+ community, and to allies.
Times are changing, and not always in a good way. Stories connect, encourage, and build resolve. Your support matters.
The first episode examines LGBTQI+ inclusivity in football in Ireland and is available to listen to on all major platforms from today (Monday 22nd June). The episode is presented by three Bohs members - Jim McElroy, Mary Nolan and Luciano Santis - on behalf of the Pride Committee and features guest interviews with Dr Matty Kennedy, Jamie Farrelly and Ella Nic An tSionnaigh. Matty is the author of the first ever LGBTQI+ Inclusivity In Irish Football study, which was launched at Leinster House (the Irish Houses of Parliament) in November 2025. Jamie is a Bohs fan and is a member of the LGBTQI+ specific football club, the Dublin Devils. Ella is a lifelong Bohs fan and is active as a player, coach and official in Gaelic Games.
The second episode, which will focus on what our club does to support LGBTQI+ inclusivity in football, will drop on Monday 29th June. This episode will feature interviews with one of our club's historians, Gerry Farrell, and with Bohs Chief Operating Officer, Jimmy Dignam.
To contact the Pride Committee email [email protected] or find them at bohemianspride on Instagram.
Bain taitneamh as an gclár agus Bród faoi mhaise daoibh!! // Enjoy the episode and Happy Pride!!

Football is all about being there for your teammates on and off the pitch ⚽💙
This Men’s Health Week, we’re encouraging everyone to start a conversation.
Men are still less likely to seek medical advice, speak up when something doesn’t feel right, or access support for their mental health. Too often, problems are ignored until they reach crisis point.
Looking after yourself isn’t a sign of weakness. Whether it’s booking that health check, opening up to someone, or simply asking a mate how they’re doing, small actions can make a big difference.
If something doesn’t feel right, speak to someone. And if a friend comes to mind, give them a call.
One conversation could make all the difference 🙏

Tonight, the U.S. kicks off its 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign on home soil with Paraguay vs the USA. But the game goes beyond what happens on the pitch.
When it comes to human rights, the governments of every nation still have work to do to. As the 2026 World Cup gets underway, we're calling on the governments of host and participating countries to show that respect for human rights is part of the game, too.
Because when the ball starts rolling, humanity must win.

Since 2015 the Mexican football federation have been fined more than $1m by FIFA for their fans' repeated use of a homophobic slur during matches.
It is a chant that has both shamed and divided Mexican football over the last decade.
Attempts to stop it — including Mexico's most famous players begging the fans not to do it — have had little impact.
Mexico fans have even started teaching it to supporters from other nations.
@JackLang on the slur that hangs over Mexico ahead of the World Cup opener.

@FIFAcom should heed fan groups from @3LionsPride to the @FootieMob to the Galactic Ambassadors, who say the World Cup should be a global celebration of soccer—not a cause for fear about abusive US immigration arrests, anti-LGBT policies, and ugly exclusion on the basis of nationality;
