Can’t believe it’s been six years since this happened.

GB3TE and GB7CL (2m FM and 70cms DMR) have been successfully relocated to the site at Holland-on-Sea and so the coverage areas have been increased.

For the last five years or so, @mb7tv has been tweeting all pictures received by the MB7TV SSTV replay. Due to the changes at Twitter, if we wish to continue this, it will cost us $100/month. As a non profit making group, this is clearly not possible so the service has ceased.

[mb7tv @mb7tv]

Sadly, due to changes with the Twitter API, we are no longer able to continue tweeting the SSTV pictures received by the MB7TV replay.
This is totally out of our control and sadly there's nothing we can do about it.

Our 70cms repeater. GB3CL has an audio feed onto the internet. You can listen to it here: https://t.co/gBsszgvIoB

We have replaced the server at GB7TE (D-Star) and it's all back on line. We have also installed a second, identical server so if we have another failure, it will be very quick to switch over.
Thanks to all our supporters, without your help, this wouldn't be possible. #dstar

[Martello Tower Group @g0pkt]

We have procured a replacement server for GB7TE and hope it will be back on air fully within the next couple of days. #hamradio #dstar #gb7te

[Martello Tower Group @g0pkt]

GB7TE (D-Star) is currently running standalone (ie no internet) due to a server failure. We are in the process of sourcing a replacement.

[Martello Tower Group @g0pkt]

One of the two PSUs on the server that runs GB7TE (our d-star repeater) has failed.

Fortunately, the server can continue to operate on just one PSU but it’s time for a replacement module.

After pretending to be busy at work today, Tony noticed some issues with MB7TV, our SSTV repeater. Please see the attached image with his report of what’s been done. Thanks again to our supporters, without your help, this wouldn’t have been a quick repair.

[Martello Tower Group @g0pkt]

Our APRS digipeater, MB7UA is back on air.

[Martello Tower Group @g0pkt]

We have replaced the aerial and the coaxial cable at our Thorpe-le-Soken site and our repeaters will be back on air before too long.

[Martello Tower Group @g0pkt]

Our APRS digipeater in Clacton (MB7UA) is currently off air following a change in ownership of the building it’s nailed to. We have an alternative location in mind and will be moving the equipment shortly. #hamradio #aprs #ax25

[Martello Tower Group @g0pkt]

@kevocouk We don’t yet, sorry. There was some work done yesterday but we need to replace both the coax and the aerial and we’re going to take this opportunity to service the two repeaters as well. Do you have Facebook? Search for the GB3CL group and keep an eye on that.

[Martello Tower Group @g0pkt]

GB3TE and GB7CL are currently off air following storm damage. Oops.

[Martello Tower Group @g0pkt]

@patrice_privat Very nice, thank you. I like the WSPR overlay on top as well.
