During some of the hardest times our family has faced in recent years our faith has truly helped to carry us through. And I've seen what prayer can do in my own life and in the lives of the men and women I've had the privilege to know who serve and sacrifice for our country. That's why I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of @hallowapp American Heroes Challenge, which launched Sunday. Over the next 13 days leading up to the celebration of 250 years of American freedom, we'll reflect on the lives of some extraordinary heroes. Not just the famous names, but the everyday men and women whose faith left a profound mark on this nation. People who understood that freedom isn't free, and that it has to be fought for, protected, and passed on.
I love my country. I am grateful to be an American. And I know I don't take it for granted. I'd love for you to join me. Download Hallow for free at https://t.co/oeNDV7XRZK and let's celebrate this great nation with prayer, remembering who we are called to be. God bless. 🙏

Fifteen years ago, I founded the @GarySiniseFound with a simple mission: to serve and honor our nation's defenders, veterans, first responders, and their families.
And the incredible impact we've made together over the last decade and a half has been remarkable. From specially adapted smart homes and support for families of fallen heroes to programs serving our wounded heroes and first responders, our ever expanding reach, touching more and more lives in such a positive way would not have been possible without the generosity of the American people.
As we celebrate this milestone, I'm deeply grateful to everyone who has joined us on this journey. And thanks to the extraordinary generosity of the McBunch family, every gift made during our 15th Anniversary celebration will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $250,000.
Thank you for helping us serve those who sacrifice so much for our country. Here's to the next 15 years. Donate today at https://t.co/u7xo8O8mJd
Happy Father’s Day to all the dads who serve, the fathers of our nation’s heroes, and the fathers who carry on the legacies of those we have lost.
Today, we celebrate the love, strength, guidance, and sacrifice that fathers bring to their families and communities. We are especially grateful for the military and first responder dads who answer the call to serve, and for the fathers whose children made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our nation.
From all of us at the Gary Sinise Foundation, thank you for all you do. Wishing you a very Happy Father’s Day. 💙🇺🇸
This morning America lost one of our great comedians and patriots, and I lost a dear friend. Tom Dreesen died at 86 years old. He was a special person, a U.S. Navy veteran with a tremendously charitable heart.
He served as a Gary Sinise Foundation ambassador for the past 14 years and was always there when I asked for his support. He loved our country and the men and women who serve and he loved supporting them through our foundation.
Tom was hilarious, always could make us laugh, and such a good friend. I will miss him terribly. What a great long career he had in show business.
Thank you, Tom. God Bless you my friend. Rest in Peace brother.
One of the beautiful songs with vocals on Resurrection & Revival: Part 3 began as a few pages of lyrics in Mac's journal.
Years ago, my friend @johnondrasik of Five for Fighting got to know and love Mac. Mac even played drums with John on a few occasions. While working on this album, I came across lyrics Mac had written for something he called “Sleepy Song” and immediately thought of John.
It’s a wonderful concept Mac had, his diary speaking to him at night, urging him to, “Let your thoughts pour out.”
I sent John pages of lyrics and a short piano piece that Mac had recorded. John embraced the idea and helped transform those journal pages into a beautiful song. Most of the lyrics come directly from Mac, with John adding some great touches here and there including the touching line, "And if you miss me, I am never gone."
As a father, it's hard to put into words what it means to hear Mac's creativity come to life in this way. I don't think he ever imagined these lyrics would become a song shared with the world.

We had such a great time recording Resurrection & Revival: Part 3 that I wanted to share a little behind-the-scenes fun from the studio.
At one point, everyone decided to show up dressed as Lt. Dan. Imagine my surprise when everyone showed up in bandanas, Hawaiian shirts, and some very impressive wigs. Needless to say, there were a lot of laughs that day.
This project has been incredibly special to me. As Mac's dad, it's been an honor to help bring his music to life and share it with all of you. I'm grateful to everyone who poured their hearts into this album and helped celebrate Mac's creativity, talent, and spirit.
Hope you enjoy this glimpse behind the scenes.

"Walk Before You Run" is one of my favorite songs among many favorite songs on the new album, Mac Sinise Resurrection & Revival: Part 3.
The message is simple, but powerful: when life feels overwhelming and nothing seems to be going your way, sometimes the answer isn't to move faster, it's to focus on the step right in front of you.
The song began with lyrics Mac wrote during his college years, and a chord pattern he laid down on his guitar. I found it all and asked Dan Myers to help shape those ideas into the beautiful song you hear today. I'm so grateful to Dan and the talented musicians of Stolen Silver for helping bring Mac's words and music to life.
As a proud father, it means so much to see these songs and orchestral compositions finally make their way from Mac's notebooks and recordings into the studio and out into the world. I know he'd be smiling to know people are listening and connecting with his music.
I know you will enjoy "Walk Before You Run."

It was an honor to be with the families of fallen heroes as they walked in the National Memorial Day Parade in Washington, D.C. this Memorial Day. Spending time together in remembrance of their loved ones, and honoring the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice, is something I hold deeply in my heart.
We remember them always.
Today is our nations Memorial Day. Enjoy your day and take a moment to remember the true meaning of this day. A day to pay our respects to all those who have given their lives in our country's defense. God bless these brave heroes and their families.
