That’s a wrap for the 1st edition of our Autumn Meet. Thank you to our visiting clubs, all of the officials, the timing system team, and our own helpers in their various roles!

We’re in Sheffield today and tomorrow for the Swim England National Summer Meet. Daniel is swimming in the 50 backstroke this morning just after 10:30am. Go well big lad!

Anna attacked the final extremely well, dropping 1.3 seconds from her heat swim (and best time) to finish in 4th place in a time of 1:14.02. Well done Anna - let’s see what next season brings!

Anna won her heat in a new personal best time to jump up from 13th seed into 5th place. She’ll go in the final just before 17:30. You’ll need to make plenty of noise for her to hear you from Gateshead. Let’s finish strong!

Anna Finlay won a fantastic 🥈 as part of N&D PP in the 14-16 years medley relay.

A huge well done Anna - you are a British medallist! Take the momentum into your 100 breaststroke on Thursday.

She wouldn’t let me leave without a photo, so I reluctantly agreed!

Anna, swimming in Team N&D PP ‘A’, will swim in tonight’s 4x100 medley final.

It was a great heat swim from the girls, winning their heat and qualifying 2nd overall. Anna’s split of 1:13.9 is over 2 seconds quicker than her flat start best.

Anna Finlay finished in 6th place in a new personal best time. A great achievement in her first British final with lots more to come; starting with the 4x100 medley relay tomorrow.
