🟢 Somalia & Somaliland:  family laws such as the Sexual Offences Bills are blocked, leaving millions of women without legal protection.
🟢 Sudan, South Sudan, Djibouti & Uganda: Stalled family law bills, partial reforms, deep-rooted discrimination persists.
🟢 Ethiopia & Djibouti: Family laws in place but cultural and religious norms continue to be used in systematically suppressing women’s rights

✅ Passage and enforcement of gender-sensitive family laws
