Another round of coastal flooding is possible this morning. A Coastal Flood Advisory is in place until 9 AM for Georgetown County. Areas along the immediate coast and tidal waterways may experience inundation up to one half foot above ground level.

A Freeze Warning has been issued for Georgetown County beginning Monday evening through Tuesday morning. Be sure to protect your pets, plants, and plumbing from the first frigid temperatures of the season.

A Flood Advisory has been issued for Georgetown County until 8:15 AM. Heavy rainfall may lead to localized minor flooding in low-lying flood prone areas. Remember, don’t drive through flooded roadways. Turn around, don’t drown!

A High Risk for rip currents, along with a High Surf Advisory will produce dangerous surf conditions along Georgetown County beaches today. Although the sun is expected to return, we encourage everyone to avoid the ocean until conditions improve.
