Some people believe that the EU is generally good, and it only needs competent people at the helm. The problem is that the system is itself built to keep people isolated from decision-making power, thus keeping power disconnected from ground realities.
To fix it is to break it.
Do you have a license for that printing press?
/s
And since text watermarking functions by introducing a statistical bias in token selection, EU essentially mandated model extra stupidity / product enshittification.
Another EU reg good for bureaucrat self-congratulation only.
“I don’t live in EU, why should I have my AI output watermarked?”
because EU law basically says: you can generate a text in your cozy SF cafe, but if it gets used in EU, some dude there must be able to detect if it was AI.
welcome to the regulation party,
everyone is invited
Other than EU bureaucrats for their self-enjoyment, who else benefits? Non-compliant model makers and non-compliant model users
At best, it makes the AI ACT eventually unenforceable, and at worst that makes the EU poorer through furthering economic irrelevance and isolation 🇪🇺👏
@Suzaku_is_tired For cognitive exertion in this situation, I have had some success with taVNS (Nurosym), agmatine sulfate, L-theanine, mag L-threonate and to some extent cold exposure. If you're referring to muscular overexertion however, then I don't know.
@Stefano_Peron Not that I generally agree with the man, but you can have a financial bubble about the thing, while the tech itself fundamentally isn't in one. I think a useful parallel here is dotcom crash: didn't quite end up canceling the Internet or what ended up growing on it afterwards.
@Frisobotter That's the point: they built the EU in such a way that would isolate the voters from political power. A consequence of that is reality can't stop them. They are disconnected by design.
@ariange1o@vonderleyen The problem is structural. EU foundations are broken. No one voted for this, nor can we choose political orientations at the union level, as the parliament has little power and is the only institution we elect representatives in. Result: permanent BS
@AmmousMD Constant sleep disruption and pro-inflammatory food is "nice" too. At least once you're aware of all this, it's a great incentive to get out as fast as possible (hopefully by getting better).
@Mangan150@MaryBowdenMD As for aspirin, it does not break up fibrin clots caused by the spike protein. It helps prevent platelets clumping into more clots. Bromelain + NAC + Nattokinase as popularized by @P_McCulloughMD however can help break those up.
@Mangan150@MaryBowdenMD I'm still recovering from post-covid issues after ~4 years. Assuming post-vax has overlap, it's a complex problem not just because of the pathogen, but also because of the latent damage. HBOT / Maraviroc/Atorvastatin / Prolonged fasts / low-dose rapa all helped me, messed others.
@wil_da_beast630 It's a very useful tool to calm the nervous system down. That said, if the peptide is diluted in a saline / sterile water solution, it's trash. Prefer oxytocin acetate: shelf life is higher (doesn't degrade as quickly), and acidity plays better with nasal mucosa: actually works.
@levelsio Anything that boosts energy in the brain helps. After chronic illness impacting that, I'll also vouch for MitoQ (a form of Q10, ubinquinol is 2nd best), Mag L-Threonate, Omega 3s and a few more.
But creatine remains by far the best bang for for your buck. Also steak!
