G-DRAGON과 ‘뮤스크 라바줴’와의 첫만남은 어떻게 시작되었을까요? 10여년 전 사람들과 함께 우연히 에디션 드 퍼퓸 프레데릭 말의 매장에 들른 그는 조향사들의 포트레이트가 전시되어 있는 것을 보고, 각자 가장 맘에 드는 사진 속 조향사가 만든 향을 시향해 보기로 합니다. 그는 선이 굵은 남자의 인상적인 흑백 사진 앞으로 다가갔고, 그건 바로 관능의 대가, 화학자 특유의 정교함과 대담한 예술적 감각으로 남다른 향수들을 만들어온 마스터 퍼퓨머, 모리스 루셀의 사진이었죠. 천재들끼리는 뭔가 통하는 걸까요? 그렇게 첫 향기를 맡은 뒤, ‘뮤스크 라바줴’는 그와 떼려야 뗄 수 없는 인생 향수가 되었습니다.
