Support Felix Holt Ward’s Wish List!

Felix Holt Ward cares for patients recovering from strokes, many of whom face challenges such as speech difficulties, mobility issues, and cognitive changes.

To help their recovery, Felix Holt staff create activity boxes that patients can use to continue therapy and build independence — even when the rehabilitation team isn’t present. Felix Holt also plan to develop their Serenity Garden, a calm and therapeutic space where patients can relax and connect with nature.

Summit Mount Toubkal for George Eliot Hospital Charity

£1,500 minimum sponsorship per person - this includes return flights to Morocco, transfers, accommodation, food and local expert guides during the challenge.

The George Eliot Hospital Charity team will provide support to help you raise the minimum sponsorship.

The funds raised from the Mount Toubkal Trek will be used by the George Eliot Hospital Charity to support George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust to provide excellent care to our patients and their families, provide funding for life-changing and life-saving equipment, and develop staff well-being.

Supporting Our Smallest Patients

A strong start in life helps premature babies grow, thrive, and reach their full potential. One of the most important factors in improving long-term outcomes is enabling parents and carers to be close to their babies as much as possible.

By enhancing our unit’s environment, we can make those long hours — and often overnight stays — a little more comfortable for families. Items such as soft bedding for our family rooms, improved breastfeeding pillows, and supportive feeding stools can make a real difference.

We also know that developmental care plays a vital role in a premature baby’s growth. Equipment like positioning tools and cot canopies that shield babies from bright light help support better sleep and healthy development.

We’re fundraising to purchase these items and more — helping us create a nurturing, supportive space for our babies and their families during their time on the unit.
