There really is no stopping PD Dre. After 2 suspects make off from a burglary the first is quickly caught by Dre. Persistence pays off and the second is tracked hiding behind a shed. A well earned treat for the young PD. Superb work as always from this fantastic team.

A busy night for new Recruit PD Rudy.
Initially tracking and locating property that had been stolen from multiple 🚗.
Then locating a suspect wanted for Burglary.
PD Rudy searched a scrap yard and located the suspect hiding within a vehicle.

This is why we really need PD’S.
2 Suspects broke into an elderly persons house, causing extreme distress to the occupant.
Local patrols attended and chased the suspects.
That was when PD Nova was deployed finding them hiding before detaining 1 who made off.

Super Dre is at it again. After a lengthy pursuit the driver thought it better to make a run for it. They thought wrong. PD Dre can run much much faster. Driver and 2 (slower) passengers in custody for theft of motor vehicle. Excellent as always Dre

A 🏍️ was stolen, the bike was being tracked to Clifton County park.
PD Harley’s Chauffeur attended the location, 2 males made off 🏃 into the woods.
After a quick Bolero on the 🧊, PD Harley was deployed.
2 detained & in custody, bike returned less than 30 mins after theft. 🐾

Great team work over the weekend, led to PD Atom detaining 2 suspects.
In the 1st instance Atom detained a driver who had made off from traffic after a pursuit in the ❄️.
Then Atom detained a burglar, who was part of a team stealing 🚗 across different force areas
2 in custody.

Before the fireworks and celebrations of New Year.
PD Kyp was out plying his trade, successfully locating a suspect hiding in woodland.🐾
The suspect was wanted for multiple offences and had managed to evade police 👮 on numerous occasions.

Male commits burglary by breaking into an address via the back window before making off. PD Xena tracks to his location where he surrendered to challenge. Male was also wanted for an affray and possession of a blade earlier in the evening.

This Christmas, PD Dre gave them a head start
But the very same day, he caught them anyway.
This year, to save residents of Wigan tears,
Dre gave them something special.

Amazing work by Dre tracking 2 suspects for theft of vehicles and locating vital evidence. What a team!

Last night PD Dre was deployed after a running suspect.
Yes you guessed it- I in custody for multiple offences .
The suspect had failed to stop in 🚔 pursuit, and chose to Run 🏃‍♂️.

After a 🚗, failed to stop, and deliberately crashed into one of our Vehicles,
PD Jimmy was deployed and detained the fleeing suspect
1 in custody for multiple offences.
PD Kyp then located a suspect hiding in a new build site who had been stealing 🧰.

On only his second shift new recruit PD Chabal has been in action.
Firstly tracking to a male responsible for a domestic burglary.
Then TVIU pursued a stolen 🚗, chasing and losing suspect on foot.
Chabal was deployed and located the suspected under a 🚗.

Training PD Boston, who turned 10-and-a-half months old today, has been working on his search skills and successfully located a concealed phone 🐶

Boston is hoping to enrol on a course next year which, if successful, will see him become an operational police dog for us.

After multiple arrests and eight years of service with us, PD Jax has retired 🐶

His confidence led him and Insp Weeden to detain numerous suspects across GM, helping to keep you safe.

PD Jimmy up to his old tricks.
This time Jimmy detained a fleeing driver from a cloned 🚗.
The suspect was no match for PD Jimmy 🏃‍♂️ 🐕.
1 in custody for multiple offences 🐾🐾🐾

82 dogs were seized from an address in appalling conditions, by the RSPCA.
GMP assisted with some of the dogs and after a lot of care and training.
We can proudly announce that PD Bruce & Lola have passed their DCF course with new handlers Mike&Danielle.

Last night one of our handlers spotted a 🚗 driving erratically.
The 🚗 was requested to stop, however the driver fled on foot.
PD Xena gave chase and was punched by the suspect, undeterred PD Xena detained the male.
Arrested drink drive & assault on PD Xena.
