Last night, the DA’s Office’s Victim Witness Advocates joined @SheriffHutson, crime survivors community partners and community members for the Crime Victims Partners neighborhood canvass in New Orleans East to raise awareness for crime victims’ rights.
Today, the DA’s Office proudly participated in Denim Day and joined community members for the New Orleans Police Department’s Special Victim’s Division's first annual Adopt-a-Block event in New Orleans East to highlight Child Exploitation, Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking.
The OPSO Crime Victim Reparations Unit was also on hand to provide information related to the assistance we’re able to provide to violent crime victims in New Orleans.

The @NOPDNews Special Victim’s Division hosted their first annual Adopt-a-Block event today. This initiative is to highlight Child Exploitation, Sexual Assault and Human Trafficking. It kicked off w/ a parade along Chef Hwy to call attention to these issues along the corridor.
