Kindly correct article 138 (2).

[Willis Evans Otieno @otienowill]

The difference between “result” and “results” is not grammatical gymnastics. In Article 138, it is a constitutional distinction that matters.

Article 138(2) speaks of “the results of the presidential election” the results generated and declared through the electoral chain.

Those are the results: the constituency-level presidential figures arising from the 290 constituencies.

But Article 138(10) speaks of the Chairperson “declaring the result of the presidential election.”

That is the result; the national presidential outcome derived from those constituency results.

This distinction matters because it tells us what happens at each level.

The constituency is not merely a transit point. It is the constitutional unit through which the presidential results are collated and declared. The 290 constituency results form the evidentiary and numerical foundation upon which the national result is established.

How many more lives must be lost? How many more families must bury their loved ones?
In Meru, people are not living, they are waiting for the next attack. This is not normal. This is not acceptable. Leadership must mean something. It must protect. It must act. deliver safty now.

Kindly ignore the post going around with my photo and false statements about opposition leadership. I didn’t write it, and I do not support such divisive propaganda. Using my image without consent is wrong. Let’s stay focused and united.

Let me say this again. STOP DEMONSTRATIONS. Demos work when dealing with reasonable people. Those with some degree of humanity in them. IEBC is now in place. Plan massive voter registration and education. Speak at the pooling day. Let your vote demonstrate.

My advice on Saba Saba is that please give it a pass. Concentrate on voter registration and voter education. Don't give these people the opportunity to kill more Kenyans.

It appears to me that it would have been cheaper and better for the country if the president had addressed GenZs' grievances instead of co-opting the opposition.

@otienowill I hope you are already in court over this. If you are not, find another subject to discuss here and stop teaching bad manners. Discussing matters only the court can clarify on X is bad manners. But if the matter is already before the high court, congratulations.
