The Republican Party of Northfield Township, IL. We're the party of responsible government in Northbrook, Glenview and Northfield. Committeeperson @tjbrown.
@sportscubs I'm not saying Bob Irsay was any kind of saint, but the Maryland legislature forced the Colts' hand. They've been in Indy longer than they were in Baltimore now.

Want relief at the pump? Go to Indiana.
Want relief at the store? Go to Indiana.
Want relief on insurance rates? Move to Indiana.
Want better football? Move to Indiana.
What is it that you or the 77 others who voted for you for speaker are good at?
While Indiana is willing to raise taxes and promise $1 billion in taxpayer funds, Illinois has focused on the needs of working families who want relief at the gas pump, at the store, and on their insurance bills-not taxpayer-funded stadiums. Illinois remains open to ongoing efforts to secure the Bears in Illinois.
Tell me you don't know history without saying you don't know history.
It's a lot easier moving stuff to Indiana from Lake Forest to Indiana than it was from Owings Mills, Maryland.

@TehDuffman Same here. Don't you see the irony that Welch smugly says "Oh, we didn't focus on the Bears because we want to give residents relief at the pump, etc." when
a) The House and Senate each passed not great bills to keep Bears;
b) gas, groceries and insurance are more expensive here
@sportscubs The Hoosier/RCA Dome not only lured the Colts (who left Baltimore because the MD state legislature were attempting to take the team using eminent domain) but helped vitalize downtown, bringing many large events and conventions to town. Part of Mayor Hudnut's plan.
@sportscubs Can I interest you in a grocery bill in Northbrook (bags not included), a Target bill in Glenview, and some ISFA bonds for the soon-to-be replaced Rate Field and Soldier Field?
Also, RCA Dome bonds were retired 6 years ago.

@Bearthafuckdown@Gorgias483 And yet, the IL state senate decided to pass a bill to allow municipalities in Cook County to create their own stadium authorities to rinse and repeat, even when the Bears (and the taxing districts in AH) simply wanted to be able to negotiate pmts in lieu of taxes.
Many who go to games will not like it, but the Bears will thrive across the state line. They follow a long line of good businesses out of Illinois, and many more are likely to follow, given the leadership in the Land of Lincoln.
My daughter Katie paid the ultimate price of these reckless policies. Illinois hands out driver’s licenses to anyone and calls it “safety.” New-speak.
My daughter’s killer couldn’t read or communicate, yet had a DL number.
@GovPritzker demands accountability from everyone except himself. “Accountability Commission”?
A complete misdirection. Illinois needs one for him and his administration.
Alexi Giannoulias just follows orders. Not a leader.
@GovPritzker say her name.
