I am honored to have the trust of my colleagues to serve as Chairman of the Republican Policy Committee, and I am grateful for their support. I’d like to thank Chairman @repkevinhern for his strong leadership and the foundation he built. My goal is to ensure the Policy Committee is a place where every member has a voice and where ideas are turned into actionable conservative policy to benefit the American people. Let’s get to work!
As the world’s largest state sponsor of terrorism, the Iranian regime is an active threat to the United States, our allies, and stability across the Middle East.
Iran’s refusal to accept a deal left President Trump with no choice other than to take decisive action to ensure the regime never possesses a nuclear weapon. There is no peace without strength, and the United States will not sit by while this regime pursues their nuclear ambitions, fuels their terrorist proxies, and brutalizes the Iranian people.
I’m praying for our brave troops in the region. May God bless them, and may God bless the United States.
Great to have @StephenMoore, former Senior Economic Advisor to @POTUS, join RPC today to discuss building on our work to strengthen the economy and lower costs for American families.
Implementing pro-growth policies is how we set hardworking Americans up for success.
Every Democrat voted to raise your taxes. Republicans did the opposite.
We simplified the tax code to make filing easier, stopped Democrats’ unlawful IRS expansion, blocked their effort to track routine online sales, & cut taxes for working and middle-class Americans.
365 days of President Trump restoring America to greatness!
🇺🇸Secure border
🇺🇸Historic tax cuts
🇺🇸American energy dominance
🇺🇸Peace through strength
Promises made. Promises kept.
Obamacare CRUSHED competition in U.S. healthcare, driving up YOUR premiums. Here are the HARD facts:
1) Insurers fled exchanges: In 2017, 80 insurers exited while only 11 entered—a net loss of 69 carriers—as majors like UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, and Humana withdrew after hundreds of millions in losses on ACA plans.
2) Limited choices for millions: By 2017, about 1/3 of U.S. counties had just one insurer on exchanges, leaving hundreds of thousands of enrollees (mostly in rural areas) with one or zero options.
3) Less competition means higher premiums: From 2016 to 2017, 81% of consumers experienced fewer insurers, and counties losing plans saw significantly steeper premium increases than those with stable competition.
4) One-size-fits-all mandates: Obamacare's "essential health benefits" required all individual and small-group plans to follow a federal template, eliminating many affordable, bare-bones, or customized options that consumers preferred.
As a part of our 'Meet the Experts' series, Rep. Obernolte joined @AEI for an in-depth discussion on Artificial Intelligence.
Thank you @JayObernolte for sharing your expertise on this important issue!
Many thanks to @EDSecMcMahon for joining us this morning to discuss meaningful reforms to our education system.
Today’s students are our future leaders, and our schools must be focused on academic excellence to ensure they’re prepared to succeed.
My statement on voting for the FY26 NDAA, which will restore lethality in our Armed Forces and improve quality of life for our servicemembers and their families 🇺🇸:
As our country faces growing threats worldwide, it is important that we ensure the men and women who defend our nation in uniform have the resources they need to fulfill their mission at home and abroad.
That is why I was proud to vote YES to pass this year’s defense bill to improve our servicemembers’ quality of life, bolster our military readiness, strengthen recruitment and retention of our armed forces, and deliver for our military families.

This year’s NDAA reaffirms America’s commitment to peace through strength while delivering critical support for our service members and veterans.
As a member of @HASCRepublicans, I am proud to see this bipartisan bill’s final passage in the House.
As I told Jake Tapper on CNN, Democrats running to bring down the cost of living is a bit like the arsonist offering to put out the fire.
They caused the affordability crisis. Republicans are rebuilding the economy they burned down.
Today, @HouseGOP voted to keep CCP influence out of the classroom and protect our education system from foreign adversaries.
There is no place for CCP-backed programs in American schools, and we’re taking decisive action to put an end to it.
The House just passed my bill, the PROTECT Our Kids Act.
The CCP's malign influence in our education system is a real and growing threat. My bill ensures that no taxpayer dollars go to K-12 schools that continue to allow CCP-funded programs designed to brainwash our kids.
✅ The House just PASSED my Fair and Accountable IRS Reviews Act with bipartisan support.
Taxpayers deserve a penalty process that is fair and transparent. This bill restores the supervisor review Congress intended from day one.
A fairer, more accountable IRS is on the way.
The Chinese Communist Party's malign influence in our schools is a serious and growing threat.
My PROTECT Our Kids Act puts American children first by keeping CCP dollars and propaganda out of our schools and ensuring our education system is free from foreign manipulation.
The CCP understands that the easiest way to weaken America is through our children.
They push “cultural” programs and language centers to poison young minds with their ideas.
Our students deserve an education free from communist propaganda.
The majority of House Democrats just voted AGAINST denouncing socialism and the horrors that come with it.
@HouseGOP knows socialism has no place in America. It crushes freedom, opportunity, and is incompatible with the American Dream.
Every Member of Congress should've voted for this resolution.
The Biden administration’s Buffalo RMPA ended future coal leasing in Wyoming’s Powder River Basin, threatening thousands of jobs, undermining local communities, and jeopardizing affordable, reliable energy for millions of Americans.
Today, the House passed my H.J. Res. 130 to end Biden's coal leasing ban in Wyoming. This now heads to the Senate, where @SenLummis and @SenJohnBarrasso are ready to finish the job.
The 43 day shutdown was horrible for the American people and horrible for this country. The sad part is, it was 100% about politics, not policy.
📺 I joined @MorningsMaria to talk about the aftermath of the shutdown and more 👇
