Join us in recognizing School Board District 1 member Kelly Poole! A high-performing school district begins with a high-performing school board … and our Cherokee County School Board is laser focused on ensuring our students are learning more, growing more, and achieving more in our classrooms than they could anywhere else! This School Board Appreciation Week, we’re recognizing each of our board members for their community service and their dedication of significant time over the past two years to elevate the excellence in their governance. This work has included setting Core Beliefs, establishing the board’s first-ever Student Performance Goals, developing and publicly posting an aligned superintendent evaluation, together creating effective School Board Policies, and, as kicked off this month, developing a long-range strategic plan: Elevate 2032. You can learn more about Ms. Poole on our website at https://t.co/5OfcgvO2Wr #CCSDElevateTheExcellence

HCS provides opportunities for all scholars, regardless of background or circumstance. I am proud to be part of a school district that reinforces belief in all children—that they are valued, loved, wanted, and needed in a world that often says otherwise.
