Always great to see our leadership sharing insights with the logistics community.
In this month'sLogistics Management Magazine issue, our VP of Operations, Joseph Mirabile commented on how AI and computer vision are changing the way companies track and manage inventory. A few quotes he shared which highlight what we do:
Our value proposition is that we can show you where it actually is, if itโs in good condition, and how to better optimize your space.
We can scan the facility faster and more safely, and our customers can reallocate that labor across the warehouse.
We can pull up images and show that the product was in pristine condition when it was loaded, because we have that digital footprint.
Many of our customers are large enterprises that have multiple sites, and they can use our data to make sure they are building the most optimized warehouses in the future.โ

A few shots from Shoptalk Fall in Nashville, where our CEO and Co-Founder Sankalp Arora joined the stage to talk about what it takes to build more agile retail operations.
The conversation covered how AI and better visibility can help retailers make faster decisions, respond to whatโs actually happening across their operations and introduce new technology without disrupting the business.
Thanks to Shoptalk Fall and fellow panelists Jason Brenner of FedEx, Kelly Breakstone Roth of Prysmic and Melissa Wong of Zipline for a great conversation.

A bin is a location. A product is a thing sitting in it, and one bin holds two or three, so products always outrun bins. Finding the location is a navigation problem. Working out what is in it is a perception one, and they are solved separately.
Every one of these was read off a label at height, from a moving platform, in whatever light the building had. Each read is also a training example, which is how 99.9% accuracy gets held rather than claimed.
The first million in our took seven months. The most recent million took eleven days.

Before warehouse floors, our founders worked on autonomous helicopters.
At Carnegie Mellon University , our founders developed the worldโs first full-scale autonomous helicopter guaranteed to fly safely on its own. Funded by DARPA and tested at the FBIโs training grounds in Quantico, Virginia, that research later informed the technology behind Gather AI.
Today, weโre applying that research to help warehouse teams see whatโs physically on their shelves and act on what they find.
Last week, our Co-Founder and Chief Systems Officer Geetesh Dubey joined โHard Tech, Hard Lessons: Growing a Robotics Companyโ at the Pittsburgh Robotics & AI Discovery Day. The panel explored a journey we know firsthand: taking robotics research out of the lab and building a business around real customer needs.
Thank you to Pittsburgh Robotics Network, fellow panelists Peter Seiff, Brian Beyer, Stuart Lawrence, and moderator Stephen Muck for bringing that conversation together.
Inventory accuracy can look fine on paper, until you check what's actually on the shelves.
KeHE & DPI Specialty Foods believed its warehouse was operating at 98% accuracy. Gather AIโs solution showed that the actual figure was 80% and helped raise it to 95%. This led to $๐ณ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ ๐ถ๐ป ๐ฅ๐ข๐ ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐ฟ, thanks to Gather AI. Here's what their team had to say
When every company has access to AI, what gives a business a lasting advantage?
Last week, our CEO Sankalp Arora joined AI Horizons Pittsburgh for โBuild to Win: Creating a Company AI Canโt Disrupt,โ alongside Gaurab Bansal, Lindsay Fairman and James Gillespie.
The panel focused on how companies can move beyond simply using AI to build businesses ready to compete in an AI-native economy.
At Gather AI, weโre focused on what that means for logistics: helping warehouse teams understand whatโs happening on the floor and make better decisions with Physical AI.
Thanks to AI Horizons and our fellow panelists for bringing this conversation to Pittsburgh!

Nearly three in four U.S. consumers plan to shop Labor Day sales this year, according to a RetailMeNot survey reported by Chain Store Age.
Every one of those purchases depends on people working behind the scenes to receive, store, pick, pack, and ship the products we buy.
This Labor Day, weโre recognizing the warehouse and distribution teams who keep goods moving during busy holiday weekends and throughout the year. Their work makes modern commerce possible.
Thank you to the people on warehouse floors everywhere.

Beat Scanner Chaos and you probably don't need Gather AI.
We built an arcade game out of manual inventory scanning: too many pallets, not enough time, not enough chances. If you can keep up, congratulations, your cycle counts are in safe hands. Nobody has kept up yet.
For everyone else, autonomous scanning captures the floor continuously, 15x faster than manual, and our customers cut manual counting hours by 75%.

Our CEO & Co-Founder Sankalp Arora recently sat down with Business Insider's Shefali Kapadia to discuss Gather AI's partnership with Bosma Enterprises.
More than half of Bosma Enterprisesโ workforce is blind or visually impaired. The company wanted to make inventory work more accessible without sacrificing speed or accuracy.
With our solution, autonomous drones capture barcodes, lot codes, expiration dates, case counts and occupancy data. Voiceover and screen magnification allow trained employees to participate directly in inventory workflows.
The results: inventory accuracy improved by 66%, and scanning became 15 times faster than traditional methods. As Bosma manufacturing manager Eric Knight told Business Insider, inventory counts that once took days can now be completed in minutes.
