One election commissioner said that changes to Form 6 was illegal. Another election commissioner said that the centralisation of voter list is wrong.

Godi media and BJP spokespersons saying nothing is wrong seem to know more about the law than the election commissioners themselves.

The Indian Express story has uncovered that one man runs the election commissioners of India a constitutional body as his personal fiefdom.

Instead of quoting ECI sources, the question everyone should ask is :

PM Modi’s initiation of Project Rhino is a welcome step. But it is a step I first called for a decade ago.

I pressed for Project Rhino in Parliament in 2016, including a dedicated fund for conservation as well as the construction of rhino corridors.

In 2017, I introduced a Private Member’s Bill proposing a National Rhino Conservation Authority, with provisions to lay down guidelines for Project Rhino.

This was followed by letters to the Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change in 2017, and again in 2019. The government rejected the demand, stating that rhinos were already covered under Project Tiger.

And now, in 2026, the government has finally initiated Project Rhino. After rejecting this demand for years, the government has now changed its position and adopted the very position I had consistently advocated. The record reflects a failure of foresight and timely action on a demand that was first raised a decade ago.

One-horned rhinos are a source of pride for Assam and India. I hope this initiative receives adequate and sustained funding, scientific conservation measures, and effective protection of critical wildlife corridors.

The news of the tragic and untimely demise of the daughter of Hon’ble Minister Smt. Dipika Pandey Singh ji in a road accident is deeply heartbreaking. The loss of a child is a sorrow beyond what words can express.

So why should you care about this unprecedented rupture in the Election Commission?

BECAUSE being eligible to be enrolled as a voter is no longer enough. In one state, 97 people proved they belonged, the officer agreed, and the software, controlled from Delhi, never let him record it. They're still off the roll.

BECAUSE the reason you trust the voter list is that nobody controls it: thousands of officers do, one constituency each. Centralise the software, and that stops being true.

And BECAUSE the check built to catch this, three Commissioners deciding together, was tried.
But TWO of the THREE say they were kept in the dark on key processes rolled out to revise the rolls.

In January the EC launched ECINet, "in strict accordance with the law," the CEC said from the stage.

Within months, both Election Commissioners Sukhbir Singh Sandhu and Vivek Joshi were writing that the platform was UNRAVELLING: local officers, who by law add and delete names, were being shut out, their access to the voters' list controlled by the IT division in Delhi.

They asked for an audit. No answer.

More than half the suicides at India’s premier IITs are of students from SC/ST/OBC backgrounds. It is the most glaring example of how this regime not only perpetuates social injustice, but hides the truth from its own people.

When I raised this question in Parliament in a question to be tabled on 8th December 2025, the Ministry gave a vague response and evades disclosing specific numbers.

Now, it has been revealed that the Under Secretary wrote to the IITs on 1st December itself, but the Minister deliberately chose to exclude the suicide-related data.

This shows that their intentions were to lie to the people, to hide the extent of discrimination taking place at elite government institutions.

When Sahil Wakode’s death has shocked the entire nation, hiding such data makes the government complicit in creating the atmosphere that caused Sahil’s death.

We demand a clear answer from the Modi government on why they hid this data and what they plan to do to address this crisis faced by the marginalised students of our country.

A 17-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by three men at Astha Kunj Park near #Kalkaji Mandir after the accused allegedly posed as policemen and separated her from her male friend, #Delhi #Police said.

A PCR call regarding the alleged rape was received at around 8.45pm, following which the SHO of Amar Colony police station and staff reached the #park, where the girl was found with her friend.

The BJP has encouraged the patriarchy in Indian society. Young men are confident that they can grope, assault, abuse, lynch without any persecution. Instead of giving justice to victims the BJP ensures that the law protects the perpetrators.

The young students in Jamui, Bihar deserve better. India deserves better. India can be better.

The video from Jamui, Bihar is deeply disturbing.

Two Class 10 students were stopped on a road. Harassed. Humiliated. Molested. A young girl, hands folded, begged to be let go while goons groped her and dragged her away.

Who gave these men the right to behave like this? This is not "culture." It is patriarchy: the belief that any man can police a girl's body, her movement, her choices.

When control is mistaken for culture, and such attitudes are normalised by Andhbhakts, mobs start believing they are the law.

Every individual in that video must be identified and prosecuted under POCSO, and justice must be swift. And if the incident happened on September 19th, why are the culprits not behind bars yet?

And the Bihar government must answer why a girl is not safe on a public road at 7 pm?

उस वीडियो में दिख रहे हर व्यक्ति की पहचान होनी चाहिए और उन अपराधियों पर POCSO के तहत मुकदमा चलाकर उन्हें जल्द से जल्द सजा मिलनी चाहिए। और अगर ये घटना 19 सितंबर की है तो गुनहगार अब तक सलाखों के पीछे क्यों नहीं हैं?

और बिहार सरकार जवाब दे कि शाम 7 बजे कोई लड़की राज्य की सड़कों पर सुरक्षित क्यों नहीं है?
