Israel repeats its claim that Hezbollah uses ambulances for military purposes.

It has never provided evidence for such a claim, but has killed more than 53 medics, some in direct strikes, regardless.

The IDF's warning maps for Tehran are inaccurate. The area identified as Monirieh is Enqelab St near City Theatre and the location marked as Villa is Azadi St. Both locations are situated on either side of Enqelab Sq.

This week we mark 2 years of war in Sudan and the darkest hour for an ancient civilisation. It is one of the most harrowing crises of our generation, with the forced displacement of nearly 15 million people.

Armed men have for more than 700 days & nights attacked defenceless civilians with impunity. Civilians have not been protected, peace efforts have failed.

The widespread violence has caused the deepest humanitarian collapse in Sudan’s history and the suffering is exacerbated by severe US funding cuts on top of aid cuts also by several European donors.

Programmes that once provided vital support have been forced to shut down, leaving millions without the basic means to survive. Around 25 million people are facing devastating hunger.

Neighbouring countries hosting more than three million refugees and returnees, including Chad and South Sudan, now bear the weight of overflowing refugee populations while facing crises of their own.

For the sake of our shared humanity, the global community must reverse misguided funding shifts, and must recommit to protecting those in great need.

Successive US administrations have extended Temporary Protected Status for South Sudanese based on ongoing armed conflict, widespread food insecurity & obstacles to humanitarian access. Over 3/4 of the population needs humanitarian aid, and conflict in the country is worsening.
