My goal is to flex that connective tissue between grit, determination, critical thinking and creativity.
Mohamed Alabbar is an Emirati businessman and entrepreneur. He is the founder & chairman of Emaar Properties, the developer of the Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Mall. He used to sell cake. Now, his company has built property worth $200bn. His secret? "Don't listen to slackers!"
There's this puff puff lady that's been at the same spot on Lagos Island for close to 3 decades. The wife and I would make any excuse to get some on our way to work back in the day. She's sent kids through university with her trade. I pray dignity in labour returns someday.
"It wasn't Peter Obi that defeated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Lagos. It was how the Muslim Muslim ticket was weaponised. Some people thought President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a religious bigot. Now everybody knows better.
His wife is a Pastor. Seyi Tinubu is a Christian. Yinka is a Muslim. These blood bothers respect themselves, because of the training they got from their father.
Religion has never been the basis on which Asiwaju manages state affairs." - Senator Musiliu Obanikoro on @seunokin's podcast
Sorry about that, sir. Once the aircraft is airborne, the AC will come on. However, I will reach out to the airline. An aircraft isn't easy to sit in without cooling. I also wish you a safe flight. Do not let anything dampen your mood for the new week.
A large part of the world is getting flooded but some shallow minded Nigerians think all their problems begin and end on the Lagos-Calabar coastal road.
The internet is available to you to expand your mind.
Use it!
Do you know what it means for a player to Leave Arsenal and his old videos wearing an Arsenal shirt still gets posted and no fan will complain instead the comment section will be filled with Love for him!

Oga Morris. I left Nigeria for university in America at age 18 in 2001. I still remember following my dad to Afribank on Aba Road, Port Harcourt, by the flyover, one Tuesday morning at 9am.
My tuition was $17,000 per year, plus room and board. The official exchange rate was around ₦110 to the dollar, with black market hovering at ₦122. My dad handed a cheque to the bank manager for a draft to remit the funds. We left the bank hoping the money would reach the school before I resumed.
Sadly, it took three full months after the Form M was completed for the payment to finally hit the school’s account. Thank God I had a $4,000 traveler’s cheque for upkeep. I deposited it into my student account, and the school accepted it as a promissory note pending the remittance. There are many families and entrepreneurs who rely on fx availability at stable prices, finding this stability to be a thing of relief.
I often wish we could return to that ₦122/$ era. As an entrepreneur, I can weather any storm, but only when I’m confident in the operating environment.
I hated the insane networth erosion during the Buhari years (my old tweets are still there as evidence). Today, I’m far better positioned because the current reality allows me to predict and plan business outcomes with greater clarity.
Kudos to this administration! If I were faint-hearted, I would have exited the Nigerian economy long ago. But I choose to stay, preserve, and build. Business is on the bright side the last year, if we see good thing we go talk!

On Thursday, Donald Trump released documents which, he suggested, provided clear evidence that his 2020 election loss was orchestrated by the “deep state”.
Yet the unsealed documents analysed by The Telegraph contain no bombshell revelations – and at times appear to contradict president’s claims ⬇️

During the campaign, investigative junkalists and wailers claimed Deloitte had no record of Tinubu’s employment.
Fast forward to today, the same Deloitte was at the State House yesterday praising the reforms of their ghost worker.
