@Fleurdrisa Nowadays, it's down to licensing. Pretty Cure have permission from Tokusatsu and Toei to perform stage shows but Kigurumi doesn't allow. Especially, Japan laws are more strict. That's why the government back in 23 plans to banned those cosplays except conventions

@Fleurdrisa To be BRUTALLY honest, I have to 80% agree your statement. But there's something I have to say what you mentioned, the thing is people in Japan are frightened of Kigurumi since the pretty cure incident and foreigners wears Kig could lead to unworthy behaviour from Japanese
